Conceptualized Entrepreneurship Development Programme Model, popularly known today as EDII-EDP model. Today, the model is being implemented by ED organizations and institutes across India and outside.

Helped set up twelve state level Entrepreneurship Development Institutions in the country to strengthen entrepreneurship.

Launched the first ever Open Learning Programme in Entrepreneurship so that working executives could learn the technicalities of setting up business, at their own pace and time.

Pioneered AICTE approved two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Entrepreneurship and in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development.

Pioneered creation of research and intellectual capital in Entrepreneurship with the launch of 4-year, AICTE approved Fellow Programme in Entrepreneurship (Doctoral Level).

Leads the world's largest study in Entrepreneurship, 'Global Entrepreneurship Monitor', India chapter, since 2012.

Launched the first ever International Biennial Conference in Entrepreneurship

Editor of the exclusive ‘Journal of Entrepreneurship’, published by the Sage Publishers

Trains between 1,50, 000 to 1,90,000 potential entrepreneurs and close to 26000 MSMEs, annually, PAN India.

Formulates National Policies for various Central and State Government Ministries and Departments

Created nationwide income and ownership opportunities by associating with more than 500 NGOs across the country, that could reach the grassroots to ensure results.

Promoted inclusive growth by designing and implementing a special programme for minorities and the marginalized sections of society.

Undertook research to probe the special needs of the differently abled and evolved a model for making the differently abled, entrepreneurial. With the support of Govt. of Gujarat, set up the Centre for Differently Abled, on campus.              

Designed and Implemented a special training module to rejuvenate the handicraft and handloom legacy of India.

Conducted the first ever entrepreneurship oriented Summer Camp for youths and children, thus ‘catching them young’ and empowering them with ‘winning’ skills.

Introduced industrial and artisanal cluster development model (including the cluster development executives' concept), leading to formulation of cluster development scheme.

Pioneered the study of Business Development Services market in India, thus giving recognition to BDS market development approach in the country.

Piloted the replicable model of creating Micro Business Counsellors to ensure survival and growth of existing enterprises.

Developed a unique poverty eradication model, Kudumbashri, for the Government of Kerala

Offers the largest ever village entrepreneurship programme in the country, the Startup Village Entrepreneurship Programme.

For the first time ever, designed and implemented a unique programme for 29 Basawis (temple maids) of Andhra Pradesh. It was based on the Rural Entrepreneurship Development Model, an archetypal of EDII.

Collaborated with major corporate houses of the country to implement their Social Entrepreneurship & CSR activities, with measurable impact, across the country.

Associated with all major Central Government Ministries and Departments as their nodal agency/implementation partner/knowledge partner.

Functions as Nodal Institute for Promoting Startups under the aegis of the Government of Gujarat to strengthen entrepreneurship in the state.

Associated with esteemed institutions and centres of excellence, PAN India, to develop cadres of teachers of higher education, as resource persons, to ensure strengthening of entrepreneurship in education.

Designed and implemented a unique crises resilience model for reviving the earthquake struck Kuchchh and adjoining regions.

Curated region-based skill and entrepreneurship development model to strengthen entrepreneurship among the youths, in particular, in the lesser developed regions of Kashmir, North East India and the like.

Designed and launched innovative, outcome-based entrepreneurship development models to strengthen science and technology entrepreneurship in the country

Set up Entrepreneurship Development Centres (EDCs) in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam, Uzbekistan and Rwanda.

Organizes International Capacity Building Programmes annually, to groom professionals from over 130 developing countries in various areas of entrepreneurship and investment promotion.

Set up the Inter-Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship and Investment Promotion under the aegis of UNIDO for strengthening entrepreneurial capacities of selected countries in Asia, Africa and Arab regions.

Facilitated setting up of Arab Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship and Investment Training (ARCEIT), in Manama, Bahrain.

Facilitated setting up of Advisory Centre for Industrial Development (CAD), in Manama, Bahrain.

Implemented mega development projects with international organizations, such as; Human Resource Development Fund, Ministry of HRD, Malaysia, World Bank, Commonwealth Secretariat, UNIDO, ILO, FNSt, British Council, Ford Foundation, European Union, ASEAN Secretariat, SDC etc.

Hosts Technology Business Incubation Centre, Centre for Advancing and Launching Enterprises (CrAdLE), catalysed and supported by NSTEDB, DST, Govt. of India, for incubation support primarily in the areas of food / agri business, renewable energy and healthcare.
