Mr. Ridim Agarwal
Director
R’Keon Life Sciences
PGDM, 2010

Ridim was introduced to the world of healthcare at a very young age. Walking alongside his father on the factory floor, he witnessed not just manufacturing processes but also the deeper commitment, trust and responsibility toward patients.

Over the last more than 15 years, he has been actively involved in building and scaling healthcare ventures across manufacturing, marketing, distribution and retail. His journey has not been about inheriting a business, but about restructuring, modernizing and expanding it with a long-term and sustainable vision. As a third-generation entrepreneur Ridim says, “My focus has been to blend legacy experience with modern systems, compliance discipline and scalable growth strategies.”

Ridim belongs to the business family, so he knows the basics of the business, but he wants guidance and mentorship to take larger responsibilities within the family enterprise, thus he enrolled in the Family Business programme at EDII. The programme provided structured learning in feasibility analysis, business planning, working capital management, risk assessment and compliance & governance. The biggest shift was moving from instinct-based decision-making to structured, data-driven strategy. It helped him understand scalability, financial discipline and phased growth planning.

Today, Ridim leads R’Keon Life Sciences, a national ophthalmic pharmaceutical company. He has scaled Obligo Distributors into a structured pharma distribution network and launched PharmOptyx, a hospital-based pharmacy and optical retail concept in 2024. Beyond business, Ridim is deeply committed for social causes through the Shree R. K. Agarwal Memorial Foundation, a trust established to provide medical support to underserved communities. Today, his company employs more than 250 people and has achieved a consolidated annual turnover Rs. 30 Crore. Looking ahead, Ridim aims to expand the ophthalmic and specialty pharma portfolio, while strengthening the company’s national distribution reach. He plans to further scale the PharmOptyx retail model and Invest in automation and digitization to enhance operational efficiency. At the same time, he remains committed to generating more employment opportunities and strengthening CSR initiatives under the Foundation to create a broader social impact.
