Pratik’s interest in entrepreneurship was sparked by summer camp at EDII and early exposure to the family’s textile machine manufacturing business, which designs, develops and customizes machines based on client needs.

Pratik’s decision to pursue the Post Graduate course at EDII stemmed from a desire to gain training and develop the necessary skills to effectively manage and grow his family business. He carefully evaluated various factors and developed a strategic plan for his company’s progress. Going back to his family business, Pratik introduced advanced management techniques and analyzed numerous project reports to identify expansion opportunities. His well-calculated efforts bore results as he successfully acquired and revived three businesses, transforming them into profitable ventures. He has received constant family support and motivation, which has propelled him to new heights. 

Pratik’s entrepreneurial journey wasn’t easy. A division within the family business created significant hurdles, and the initial years were difficult, marked by financial setbacks due to the management transition. Pratik navigated through adversity with resilience. Gradually, he overcame challenges and set the business back on track. 

Today, Pratik manages three companies, including two fully-owned firms and two proprietary ventures, a significant expansion from the family business. His story exemplifies the power of entrepreneurial education, strategic planning, and resilience in the face of adversity.
