Gaurav leads the International Business and Business Development of Rimtex, as well as of six other group companies. These companies operate across diverse segments, including textile machinery and components, , and Kalpar Castors are used by the entire cross-section of industries for mobility needs. The group has also ventured now into Industrial EV and Industrial software related specialised solutions. Each company commands the highest reputation globally and sets the benchmark for quality within its respective field.
Gaurav directs the group’s global presence. The group’s export network is present in 60 countries, has earned a leading position across different product groups. The group is among the largest manufacturer of spinning cans in the world. His vision of building everlasting brands drives the group’s all-round progress.
Gaurav holds a PG Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship from the EDII and a Master’s in International Business from London Metropolitan University, UK. He is actively involved in numerous social and business organisations. He founded EDI Alumni Association and played a pivotal role as the Founding Trustee and President, building a legacy that continues today with over 800 life members and a rich corpus supporting developmental activities. The Institute honoured him with Alumni Achiever Award in 2017 for his contributions in the economic sphere.
He is a member of the prestigious global – Entrepreneurs Organisation from last 14 years, and served as a President of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Gujarat chapter in 2015-16. During his tenure, the EO Gujarat chapter was recognized as the Best Performing Chapter of South Asia region. For the first time in EO Gujarat chapter, a President Award was honoured to him in South Asia region. He also took on leadership responsibilities in various other business organizations like Confederation of Indian Industries, Textile Accessories & Machinery Manufacturer’s Association and Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industries (GCCI) Youth Wing.
