Deepak is a well-known entrepreneur, admired by many for his generous contributions to society. He believes that his confidence and determination to achieve his dreams have been key to his success. From a young age, his family instilled in him the values of responsibility and resilience. At the age of six, he was sent to Bangalore for his education, an experience that shaped his character. Deepak humbly credits his father and grandfather, whom he admires, for shaping him into a determined individual. After completing his graduation, Deepak sought a professional course that would teach him the nitty-gritty of business, which led him to EDII’s Post Graduate course. During his two years at EDII, he discovered the world of business and explored his strengths, weaknesses, interests and preferences.
Deepak explored several business ideas in health, essential commodities and education. After extensive research and discussions, he settled on setting up a petrol pump. In 2012, with Promoter capital, he lunched Deepak Kishore Petro Services near Ahmedabad. His outlet trains and employs differently-abled persons, with one entire shift managed by women and Divyang staffs, empowering them to learn, earn, and build career.
While hiring the differently-abled people, prioritizes attitude over specific qualifications. Deepak’s aim is to integrate persons with disability into mainstream social network, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. New hires receive soft-skills training, and learn hardware and software. Some of his employees have even set up their own enterprises.
In 2022, Deepak expanded into pharmaceutical and hotel industries. Deepak’s family manages the pharmaceutical and hotel business. He setup offices in Dubai and Sharjah. Through this venture, Deepak generated an additional 100 job opportunity. His pharmaceutical business serves North India and some parts of Africa, and UAE.
