Dr. Nimita Pandey has around 6 years of rich experience in teaching and policy research. She has been associated with several prestigious organizations in different capacities, including Centre for Policy Research - Indian Institute of Science (IISc);  Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India (GoI); UNESCO; Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Her research interests include innovation and entrepreneurship, equity and inclusion in STI; innovation and sustainable development, science & technology clusters, to name a few. Dr. Pandey has worked on various projects and policy development initiatives  supported by national and international organizations, including DST, GoI; Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), World Bank, Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO),  European Commission and others. She has participated in various conferences and workshops as well as published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of several professional associations, including the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), the Global Network for Economics of Learning, Innovation, and Competence Building Systems (GLOBELICS), and the Science and Democracy Network (SDN).
