Biography

Dr. Abdul Razak has over 16 years for experience in the Industry and Academia. While he has worked as a Management Consultant, he has also served as a faculty member in various notable universities and other organizations. Some of the reputable organizations that he has been associated with include; amazon.com, Deloitte, Genpact, First American Corporation, Starlight Capital Inc., and Citations Publishers. Widely travelled, Dr. Razak has published over 30 research articles in National and International Scopus Journals, authored 4 Books and has presented research papers at more than 30 National and International Conferences and Seminars.

  • Mukhyamantri Swayam Rojgar Yojana (MSRY), Government of Goa: Leading statewide implementation through institutional capacity building across departments (DITC, EDC, DHE, DTE, DSDE & DoE) and contribute to conducting entrepreneurship programmes across the state.
  • RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) – Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce (DITC), Goa: Implementing MSME capacity-building interventions under RAMP, including Business Management Trainings (BMTs) and Transforming SHGs into MSMEs (TSM) programmes. Support district-level rollout and evaluation using indicators related to enterprise capability enhancement, MSME growth, formalization, and SHG-to-MSME transition.
  • NABARD-Supported Entrepreneurship Training Programmes – Goa: Implementing entrepreneurship and enterprise development programmes for SHG members under NABARD support. Evaluation emphasized the enhancement of entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, enterprise initiation, and livelihood diversification and sustainability.
  • NRLM / GSRLM Interventions – DRDA, Government of Goa: Implemented NRLM-aligned livelihood and SHG empowerment interventions, including Livelihood Cadre Training Programmes for CRP-EPs and Pre-SARAS Training on “The Art of Selling and Product Presentation” for SHG members.
  • DAY-NULM Entrepreneurship Interventions – GSUDA, Government of Goa: Implemented women-centric Entrepreneurship Development Programmes aligned with DAY-NULM objectives, focusing on skill development, enterprise preparedness, financial awareness, and women’s economic inclusion, with outcome-based assessment mechanisms.
  • CSR-Led Entrepreneurship Development Programmes – EDC Ltd., Goa: Implemented structured CSR-based entrepreneurship development programmes aligned with state priorities. Evaluated outcomes through beneficiary outreach, enterprise initiation, business stabilization, and sustained post-training handholding and mentoring support.
