EDII is committed to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation across the nation through the establishment of state-level centres. In Goa, EDII with the support of EDC Limited has established the EDII-Goa Centre to foster a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem across the state. The Centre plays a pivotal role in promoting entrepreneurship, nurturing young mindsets, supporting startups and creating employment opportunities in the State.
The EDII-Goa Centre, under the Mukhyamantri Swayam Rojgar Yojana, a flagship initiative of the Government of Goa, which is promoting self-employment, innovation and entrepreneurship across the State, conducted 15 Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes (EAPs) during February and March. The programmes were designed to create awareness about entrepreneurship as a viable career option, sensitizing more than 800 beneficiaries.
Additionally, 2 three-day Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (EDPs) were organized at Panaji. These programmes equipped 140 participants with practical skills and knowledge essential for effective business management. Alongside these, recognizing the critical role of faculty members in shaping entrepreneurial mindsets, 2 six-day Faculty Mentor Development Programmes were conducted in Ahmedabad, benefiting 48 faculty members, empowering them to mentor and guide aspiring and existing entrepreneurs.

The EDII-Goa Centre continues to empower the State with the knowledge, skills and innovation so that the youths and the society at large pursue entrepreneurship and contribute to economic growth.
