Training Young Minds to Develop Entrepreneurial Competencies …..Entrepreneurial Adventures Camp

‘Catching them Young’ to help them evolve as effective leaders, problem solvers, creators, and decision makers involves a model that inspires children to understand and grasp how certain unique competencies can help them blossom into strong personalities.

In collaboration with PSS Central Institute of Vocational Education (Bhopal), National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Government of India, EDII offered the ‘Entrepreneurial Adventures Camp’ to 78 vocational students. Ten teachers also participated as observers. This residential camp, conducted from 19 to 24 January 2026, focused on innovation, incubation, and entrepreneurship awareness. It sensitised students to entrepreneurship as a viable career pathway while equipping them with foundational competencies related to opportunity identification, innovation, teamwork, and basic business understanding.

Parallel engagement with teachers worked on developing their skills in teaching entrepreneurship through hands-on learning methods, including practical approaches. Guided classroom exercises enabled students to develop skills and understand entrepreneurial opportunity seeking. Group activities, along with simulation exercises and presentations, fostered the development of teamwork, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
