December 25, 2025 – The birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Swargiya Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee is observed across the nation as Good Governance Day.
On this occasion, in the presence of Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat; Shri Harsh Sanghvi, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat; Shri Rushikesh Patel, Hon’ble Minister of Energy and Petrochemicals, Panchayat and Rural Housing, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of Gujarat; Shri Jitubhai Vaghani, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Cooperation, Animal Husbandry, Cow Breeding, Fisheries and Protocol, Govt. of Gujarat; Shri Manoj Kumar Das (IAS), Chief Secretary, Govt. of Gujarat and other dignitaries, the institute signed an MoU with the Green Energy Transition Research Institute under the Department of Energy and Petrochemicals, Government of Gujarat to strengthen training and development initiatives for green entrepreneurs.
The MoU was exchanged between Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII and Shri Jignesh T. Ray, Director, GETRI. Through this strategic partnership, EDII and GETRI aim to develop green jobs for youth in Gujarat and support sustainable enterprise creation through environmentally responsible entrepreneurship.
