The AIC will enhance EDII’s efforts in building socially-relevant and sustainable startup/entrepreneurial ecosystem with focus on nurturing innovations for social impact. While women entrepreneurship would be nurtured, social entrepreneurship for supporting women livelihood would also be focussed upon.
Create an enabling ecosystem for social entrepreneurship development for ideation, collaboration and experimentation
Equip aspiring entrepreneurs with necessary skills and knowledge to build sustainable and impactful ventures, thereby realising social and financial inclusion.
Nurture and promote innovative and sustainable business solutions that address social and environmental challenges
Nurture women entrepreneurship & social entrepreneurship for supporting women livelihood
Provide support to all services of start-ups that allow for an innovation processes. This would also include co-working spaces, mentorship and access to a network of experts and relevant industry for business pilots / growth of startups.
Conduct training programmes, workshops, and courses to enhance the skills and capabilities of social entrepreneurs in areas such as business planning, impact assessment, and sustainable practices.
Organize events, conferences and seminars to facilitate networking and knowledge exchange among social entrepreneurs, investors and other stakeholders.
Financial assistance is provided through various state and central government funding schemes, along with active engagement with angel investors, venture capitalists, and corporate partners to secure equity and debt-based funding and mentorship opportunities for startups.
