Position: Content Strategist

Location: Bengaluru

Overview:

EDII is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Content Strategist to support content development, communication, documentation, and digital engagement initiatives. The role requires a combination of storytelling, coordination, content creation, and communication skills to effectively showcase the impact of grassroots women entrepreneurs and organizational initiatives.


Qualification, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Mass Communication / Journalism / Media Studies / English Literature / Marketing / Communications or related disciplines.
  • 2–4 years of experience in content development, digital communication, social media management, or documentation.
  • Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of social media platforms, content planning, and audience engagement.
  • Experience in handling reports, newsletters, campaigns, and website content will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic photo/video editing tools is desirable.
  • Creative thinking, attention to detail, and coordination skills are essential.
  • Basic photography and videography skills will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Hindi and Kannada will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage organizational documentation, including monthly, quarterly, half- yearly, annual reports, and newsletters.
  • Create, curate, and manage content for social media platforms, including posts, reels, campaigns, and engagement content.
  • Plan and execute content strategies from ideation to final execution.
  • Develop content for the WeAct website, digital platforms, and external channels such as

Quora, Reddit, and similar platforms.

  • Coordinate with beneficiaries and internal teams to collect, verify, and update information for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videosfor storytelling, documentation, social media, and promotional activities when required.
  • Support brand visibility through impactful storytelling, campaign content, and audience- focused communication.
  • Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, and visual communication across all platforms.
  • Stay updated with digital trends, content formats, and audience engagement strategies to improve outreach and visibility.

Language Requirement:

  • Proficiency in English along with knowledge of regional Indian languages. Preferred language skills include: Hindi, Kannada

Type of Employment: On a contractual basis

Remuneration: Rs.50,000/- CTC per month
