Conducted a 3-day dissemination seminar on ED related activities in Nigeria under the aegis of Nigeria Bank of Commerce & Industry (NBCI), where over 80 participants including senior officers, policy-makers and executives from Federal Government participated.
EDII collaborated with Facebook to implement its National Project – ‘Boost Your Business’. Conducted in 15 states, the programme focused on training entrepreneurs from small and medium businesses with the requisite knowledge, skills, and technology to facilitate growth of their businesses online. They were equipped with skills to use Intensive and interactive flash workshops were conducted to orient micro/small enterprises/shopkeepers/traders with various aspects of using Facebook to ‘Boost Your Business’.
The course, launched in 1998, encompasses the entire New Enterprise Creation process from idea generation to preparation of a detailed bankable project report. Students also learn to leverage the strengths of family business management and successfully implement practices that drive high performance.
