Administration, HR and Programme Office

The given division is committed to tasks related to HR policy making, maintaining employee records, managing recruitments and nurturing careers through tailored development programmes. Steering Procurement with precision, ensuring judicious Inventory & Disposal management are also some of its tasks. The Division stands for overall management of Human Resource, goods and products, exemplifying EDII’s commitment to holistic organizational development. This division assists diverse programmes on campus and facilitates activities of the Institute, outside campus, by offering invaluable technical expertise, troubleshooting and need-based guidance on relevant matters.

A matrix structure is to be adopted by the HR division, promoting collaboration among Regional Offices and the Head Office (HO), which will facilitate seamless exchange of insights, strategies and other information. This structure enhances adaptability, enabling HR professionals to navigate regional nuances while aligning strategies with the Institute’s vision.

Estate, Security & Statutory Compliances

Managing an estate involves meticulous oversight. Policies and norms for security and statutory compliance must span all levels—HO, regional, and branch offices—covering multiple facets. The Division formulates and implements robust guidelines to ensure cleanliness, maintenance of assets, safety protocols, access control and emergency preparedness. Vigilance in estate management and occupants are primary responsibilities. These measures reinforce a secure environment across all office tiers. This division also looks into general compliances, other than academic and financial ones.

Information Technology (IT) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

This division ensures seamless operations by providing robust IT support and ensuring top-tier data security measures. Handling website maintenance and ERP integration, which are the primary objectives, help streamline and safeguard digital communication.

Library and Information Centre

The division serves as the knowledge hub, undertaking an array of functions crucial to scholarly pursuits. The work includes library management, curating diverse data sets, and overseeing a cutting-edge data centre. It diligently manages research and business databases, catalogs journals and periodicals, ensuring access to information. This multifaceted division is the hub of academic resources, facilitating the dissemination and accessibility of knowledge.

Institutional Communication & Public Relations

The division focusses on in-house publication and report development, encompassing editing, formatting and designing. It is dedicated to crafting engaging content for various materials such as brochures, flyers and informational materials. This division ensures the seamless execution of support activities and interventions by providing visually appealing and informative resources. Through meticulous attention to detail, it maintains the quality and consistency of all publications, reinforcing EDII's professional image. By specializing in publication development, the division plays a crucial role in communicating EDII's achievements and initiatives effectively, both internally and externally.

Finance and Accounts

The division oversees Core Finance and Accounting functions. It handles Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, CAG Audits & Audits by Sponsors, Banking Operations in addition to ensuring compliance with Financial and Statutory regulations. Within this division, financial operations are maintained, guaranteeing precision, compliance and strategic financial growth and investments. Also, the Division ensures that the Financial Rules & Regulations as approved by the Governing Body are followed & complied. The team seamlessly integrates accounting principles, audit and regulatory adherence and viable investment foresight.

Board and Governance

The division focuses on strategic coordination, by extending support for Board meetings, documenting minutes and developing annual plans. It initiates implementation efforts, ensuring timely execution and reporting to the Governing Body and Sub-Committees. The division facilitates and promotes collaborations and partnerships.

Academic Compliances and Accreditation

The division will work for securing projects by strategizing on drawing and assimilating expertise from various departments, applying for bids and developing proposals. With technical skills and knowledge, this division will brainstorm over project acquisition, thus devising ways to optimize chances of getting projects. The adeptness in research, resource allocation and communication will ensure a competitive edge, creating a clear-cut system and plan in EDII's project acquisition endeavours.

Marketing and Branding

The division will encompass strategic actions to promote and market EDII’s products or services, focusing on brand management and promotion. It will develop strategies to engage and attract relevant stakeholders, through the use of various channels, including social media, print media and other promotional platforms, to showcase EDII's unique offerings. This division will also manage the Institute's branding efforts to maintain consistency and coherence in communication, including programme promotion. Additionally, it will engage with the media to amplify EDII's presence and coordinate marketing activities to drive enrollment and partnership opportunities.

Academic Compliances and Accreditation

The division will be responsible for keeping a track of national and international regulatory and legal requirements, as per the statutory policies and requirements of the academia. The Department will also fulfil all necessities related to meeting compliances and acquiring national and international accreditations. It will foresee opportunities for growth based on prestigious recognitions, and accordingly work towards ensuring these, for the Institute specific programmes.
