To enhance and develop entrepreneurial skills among women, EDII collaborated with the National Commission for Women (NCW) in 2023. Under this collaboration, over one year, 100 Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes (EAPs) were to be organized across the country. The target of 100 EAPs was achieved. The programmes developed entrepreneurial skills among women so that they could identify a viable business opportunity and set up a venture.
- The first EAP out of the 100 to be organized across the country was conducted at Vikram University in Ujjain.
- It was launched by Chief Guest, Shri Mangubhai Patel, Hon’ble Governor of Madhya Pradesh and Guest of Honour, Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Women, Child Development, GoI. Other dignitaries at the event included; Smt. Rekha Sharma, Chairperson, NCW; Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII; and Smt. Meenakshi Negi, Member Secretary, NCW. Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Shri P. Narhari, IAS, Secretary, MSME & Industries Commissioner, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh; NCW members including, Smt. Mamta Kumari, Smt. Delina Khongdup, Smt. Kushboo Sundar and dignitaries from the Rajbhawan and the Government.
- The participating women entrepreneurs were also facilitated with networking opportunities, through engaging interactions with established entrepreneurs, government officials, bankers, mentors, and innovators.

- The Institute organized the ‘Mega Culmination of 100 Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes (EAPs)’ on July 25, 2024 at its campus. The Mega Culmination was organised amidst dignitaries including Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Hon’ble Minister of State, Home, Industries, Cultural Activities (State Minister), Sports, Youth Service, (Independent Charge), Govt. of Gujarat as Chief Guest; Ms. Rekha Sharma, Chairperson, National Commission for Women as Guest of Honour and Dr. Sunil Shukla, Director General, EDII.
