Project UDAYA is an initiative designed to promote entrepreneurship by empowering women and persons with disabilities (PwDs). Sponsored by Tata Communications Ltd., the 2-year, third phase of the Project UDAYA was initiated in 2023 with the aim to create opportunities for the said target group by fostering entrepreneurship skills and competencies among them through various outcome-based interventions. Women and PwDs in Raigad and Ratnagiri districts of Maharashtra, have registered appreciable progress under the project.

487 trained individuals have successfully started their micro-enterprises
Trained individuals collectively invested Rs. 504.83 lakhs
The employment opportunity has been generated for 645 people
Micro-enterprises have been floated in sectors, including: food processing, textiles, leather goods, poultry farming, beauty salons, herbal products, detergents, vegetable dehydration, edible oil production, ready-made garments, and jute bag manufacturing.
