In the Phase 1 of the project which began from June 2023 and went on till June 2024, 600 youths were empowered across districts of Karnataka and Maharashtra. They gained skills and entrepreneurial competencies in selected trades.

Under the project, Skillpreneurship Learning Centres (EXSL Centres) were established to impart comprehensive skill & entrepreneurship-related training in selected key areas to ensure that youths become job-ready and equipped to float small ventures. Till August 2024, 64 enterprises were set up.
