EDII collaborated with Digital University Kerala (DUK) and Kerala Blockchain Academy (KBA), an initiative of Government of Kerala under the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Kerala (IITMK), to offer an Online Certified Blockchain Startup Programme for professionals from startups and corporates.
The programme equipped startups and individuals with requisite knowledge, skills and attitude to understand and deal effectively with the issues, opportunities and challenges in the sector of blockchain technology.
The 10-day virtual training programme, developed by KBA, comprised four days of blockchain training and six days of entrepreneurship & management training. EDII handled the entrepreneurship and management inputs of the programme while KBA and DUK took care of the sessions on blockchain technology.
Sponsored by Great Place to Work, the Entrepreneurial Calibre Development Programme was conducted by the Institute to foster entrepreneurial traits and enhance competencies of key decision-makers, functionaries, and business leaders within the organization. The programme aimed to cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship and empower participants with the necessary skills to drive innovation and growth.
The one-year programme provided participants with a comprehensive learning experience. Every month, virtual interaction sessions were conducted by the institute. Additionally, three face-to-face interactions, spanning a total of 13 days, were organized to facilitate deeper engagement and networking opportunities among the participants. The in-person sessions complemented the virtual interactions, ensuring a well-rounded experience.
To foster sustainable entrepreneurship, a powerful approach is to establish a group of Trainer-Motivators who can effectively assume the responsibility of training, counselling, and guiding individuals. In pursuit of this objective, EDII organised a various Virtual Trainers' Training Programme on Entrepreneurship , targeting trainers, mentors, and professors from science and technology institutions. The programmes aimed to enhance their entrepreneurial expertise and knowledge, enabling them to deliver carefully crafted entrepreneurship programs that lead to greater entrepreneurial triumph within their respective institutions.
EDII organised a Training of Trainers on Digital Marketing and Branding – to sharpen skills of marketing facilitators of Kudumbashree on digital marketing and branding. The programme was conducted for marketing facilitators associated with Kudumbashree.
EDII has a long term association with Kudumbashree and, under its aegis, it has facilitated significant social and economic development of the rural poor.
Skill Development Programmes were organized with the objective of providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the finer nuances of agricultural entrepreneurship. These programmes were designed in order to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the agriculture sector and develop an eye from the perspective of an entrepreneur.
This holistic approach aimed to prepare them for the diverse challenges and opportunities associated with entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector, both within their local communities as well as on the international scale.

The Institute organised National Seminar on ‘Outcome Based Education and Accreditation of Higher Educational Institutions in India’ under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The Seminar was organized with the objective of imparting an understanding on the dynamics of outcome-based education as one of the important dimensions of quality education and evaluation parameters of accreditation.
EDII offers comprehensive training programmes designed to enhance the managerial and technical capabilities of entrepreneurs in the MSME domain. For developing cadre of Business Counsellors who could handhold the MSME entrepreneurs, the Institute organized a virtual training programme for officials from the Technical and Vocational Training Organization (TVTO), Iran. This initiative strived to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively counsel and support MSMEs, thereby promoting their growth and performance.
In order to imbibe Entrepreneurial and Leadership Skills among MBA students, a specially curated training programme was organized. The Sessions focussed on fundamental principles, challenges, and opportunities associated with starting and managing a business, in addition to sessions on Creativity & Ideation, Design Thinking, Support Schemes for Startups, Idea Labs, B-Plan and Pitching and related aspects.
