The Direct Aid Programme (DAP) is a small grants programme funded by the Australian Government and managed through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Through a partnership between EDII and the Australian Consulate General, this programme aimed to empower SC/ST women in Kerala, addressing the unique challenges and vulnerabilities they face, which often hinder their entrepreneurial aspirations. The initiative sought to raise awareness about the potential and possibilities of self-employment among 1,400 SC/ST women in Kerala.
