The Policy Brief Series
The Policy Brief Series is a thoughtful initiative in the direction of creating awareness among policymakers, institutions, entrepreneurs, and other esteemed audiences about major policy interventions. It aims to create a knowledge repository.
1. Creating a roadmap for ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ by energizing MSMEs and other businesses: A look at opportunities amidst adversity
The First Policy Brief discusses the details of the economic stimulus offered by the Govt. of India as a part of Atmanirbhar Bharat Campaign towards empowering MSMEs.
2. National Education Policy 2020: Key Contours and Entrepreneurship Dimension
The Second Policy Brief discusses the National Education Policy 2020 and envisions transforming India into a global knowledge superpower by providing high-quality education to all its citizens. The Brief discusses the various goals, key contours, and entrepreneurial dimensions of the policy.
3. Women Empowerment & Entrepreneurship: Building an Inclusive and Prosperous India
The Third Policy Brief in the series – Women Empowerment and Entrepreneurship: Building an Inclusive and Prosperous India-puts forward major policies, programmes, and schemes of the Government of India which have been specially developed for women empowerment and entrepreneurship promotion in this segment of society. This issue aims to create awareness about appropriate policy interventions of the Government of India.
4. Indian Biotech Industry: Entrepreneurship and Policy Environment
The fourth policy brief on Indian Biotech Industry: Entrepreneurship and Policy Environment focuses on understanding the ‘Biotechnology Policy Ecosystem’ in the country and outlines the role of and scope for entrepreneurship.
5. AYUSH for Atmanirbhar Bharat
The fifth policy brief on AYUSH for Atmanirbhar Bharat focuses on understanding the AYUSH Ecosystem in the country and evaluates, assesses, and makes suggestions for strengthening the policy environment.

EDII and Taylor and Francis have collaborated to bring out research studies, books and reports on Entrepreneurship.
Rajasthan Patrika
EDII and Rajasthan Patrika have entered into a collaboration to jointly organize Entrepreneurship Development Programmes for emerging women entrepreneurs. Against the backdrop that entrepreneurship is the need-of-the-hour, especially among the women community, the two organizations have joined hands to institute meaningful, outcome-based programmes and bring the results and interventions before the society at large to earn a winning response for the development tool of entrepreneurship.
Dr. V.G.Patel Memorial Lecture Series
EDII lost its founder Padma Shri Dr. V.G. Patel on April 4, 2019. To commemorate Dr. Patel’s great work in the field of entrepreneurship, the Institute started the annual lecture series in 2019. Recognised by the entrepreneurship fraternity as the ‘Pioneer of Entrepreneurship Movement,’ Dr. V.G. Patel devoted his life to propagate entrepreneurship within India and globally.
Dr. V. G. Patel National Memorial Award for Entrepreneurship Trainer/ Educator/Mentor
In 2020, EDII instituted Dr. V. G. Patel National Memorial Award for Entrepreneurship Trainer/Educator/Mentor to honour the late legendary, Dr. V. G. Patel who emphasized on the significance of instituting a cadre of entrepreneur trainer-motivators to sustain the entrepreneurship movement.
