Position: Senior Content Strategist
Location: Bengaluru
Overview:
WeAct is looking for an experienced and creative Senior Content Strategist to lead content planning, brand communication, and digital engagement initiatives. The role focuses on developing impactful content, strengthening brand visibility, and showcasing the success stories of women entrepreneurs through strategic storytelling and communication.
Qualification, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree/ Postgraduate qualification in any discipline from a recognized university.
- 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, communications, digital marketing, or editorial roles.
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and content planning skills.
- Experience in managing reports, newsletters, websites, and social media campaigns.
- Good understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and audience engagement.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Canva and content creation tools;
- Basic knowledge of photography and videography for project documentation is desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Hindi and Kannada is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement content strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead the creation of reports, newsletters, impact stories, website content, and communication materials.
- Plan and manage social media campaigns and digital communication.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all communication platforms.
- Coordinate with programme teams and beneficiaries to develop compelling stories and documentation.
- Review and edit content to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Guide junior content team members and coordinate with designers and media professionals.
- Track content performance and recommend improvements to enhance engagement and visibility.
Terms of Engagement: OnContract Basis.
Maximum Remuneration: Up to Rs.65,000/- CTC per month.
