EDII Hosts its 25th Convocation… 98 Students Graduate across Entrepreneurship Programmes

The Institute celebrated a significant academic milestone as it hosted the 25th Convocation of academic programmes on May 18, 2026. The landmark event celebrated the achievements of graduating students who are set to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys. The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, Union Territory of Ladakh. The convocation was presided over by Shri Rakesh Sharma, President – EDII and Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, IDBI Bank Ltd.

98 students and scholars were conferred with diplomas across academic programmes, which included: 76 Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Entrepreneurship (PGDM – E) students, 8 Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (PGDM-IEV) students, 11 Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Online (PGDM-Online) students and 3 Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) students.

Also gracing the occasion were (2nd from R) Shri Gopal Jha, Chief General Manager (SME & Supply Chain Finance), State Bank of India, Mumbai; (2nd from L) Dr. Milind Kamble, Founder Chairman, Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI), Pune; (R) Shri Rajesh Gandhi, Managing Director, Vadilal Industries Ltd., Ahmedabad and (L) Dr. O. P. Goel, Advisor to CEO, National Skill Development Corporation, New Delhi.

It is heartening to mention that some of the graduating students have already floated their businesses. These students include: Saubhagyavardhan Shukla, Aniket Patwa, Dhruval Dave, Nishant Patel, Anshika Gupta, Harshvardhan Gurjar and Manali Sapra have already started their own enterprises.
