Position: Post-Doctoral Fellow
Department: Centre for Research in Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CREED), EDII, Ahmedabad.
To report to: Professor In-charge of CREED.
About CREED: The Centre for Research in Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CREED) aims at serving as a bridge between theory and practice in the field of Entrepreneurship. It encourages young researchers to make use of the resources at the Centre to make valuable contribution to the knowledge on entrepreneurship. The Centre catalyses networking of researchers and institutions by encouraging enquiries into the emergence and growth of entrepreneurship as a discipline. It provides networking opportunities to researchers and institutions, and facilitates collaborative research initiatives within and beyond. Dissemination of research findings is another important agenda of the Center. It provides platform for dissemination to stakeholders like planners, policy-makers, research scholars and academicians through conferences, seminars, workshops and colloquies.
Education qualification: FPM or PhD in areas related to entrepreneurship or management
Experience: Prio research experience and publication in peer reviewed journals, chapters in edited volumes from established publishing houses and/or authorship of book or book chapters is desirable. Proficiency in conducting independent research is expected.
Job Role:
- To develop high quality research outputs based on the field data and projects undertaken by EDII over the years
- To publish in top-tier journals in co-authorship with the faculty members of EDII
- To develop research other outputs as agreed from time to time
- To support CREED and other academic activities of EDII as per need
Competencies Required:
- Research design and scholarly writing
- Proficiency in qualitative, quantitative and mixed method research
- Interpersonal, presentation and management skills
- Enthusiastic and Self-motivated
- Excellent team worker
Duration of Engagement: Two years. The initial appointment will be for one year, to be extended to the second year after performance assessment.
