Mr. Palash Shah
Director – Siddhachakra Weaving Pvt. Ltd. | Founder – Leo Business Network (LBN)
PGDM, 2014
Palash Shah, Director of Siddhachakra Weaving Pvt. Ltd. and Founder of Leo Business Network (LBN), has steered Siddhachakra into the largest exporter of textile products, supplying to over 45 countries. Established in 2011 as a subsidiary of Badiya Fashion—originally founded in 1991 as Aadeshwar Synthetics Pvt. Ltd.— the company began with shirting fabric in Gheekanta, Ahmedabad. With strategic diversification into cotton denims, pigment dyeing, pigment brasso and premium dress materials, Palash built a strong client base of more than 250 MNCs and corporates.
Siddhachakra gradually transitioned from trading to a full-fledged manufacturing enterprise through backward integration and subsidy support. Today, the company produces over 4 lakh meters of fabric per month, powered by shuttleless powerlooms from Colombia and Turkey, along with specialized corduroy cutting and warping machines. This blend of innovation and quality has enabled Siddhachakra to match international standards.
Beyond textiles, Palash founded Leo Business Network (LBN) in May 2020, a platform that fosters collaboration and growth by enabling entrepreneurs to share business opportunities within a trusted and supportive network.
Palash looks up with gratitude, as he says, “I am grateful to the almighty for giving me the wisdom to join EDII. This institution should be the first choice for all wanna-be entrepreneurs. It is here that I got clarity on my vision and a roadmap of achieving it. I will forever remain indebted to my alma mater.”
Siddhachakra has generated employment for 150 people. Talking about his growth plans, Palash says, “In time to come, I look forward to diversification while being conscious about maintaining a green environment. I would be integrating green energy into my manufacturing processes to match steps, with ‘sustainable fashion’, which is the need-of-the hour requirements.”
