Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) – Gujarat Chapter, supported by Industries & Mines Department, Government of Gujarat, managed by EDII, provides a platform to connect women entrepreneurs with various resources and support systems. The activities implemented to achieve the mandate, include: skill development, incubation support, mentoring, marketing support and funding. During the last two months, under the WEP, 2 Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes (EAPs), 8 Micro Enterprise Development Programmes (MEDPs), 4 Employability & Soft Skills Development Programmes (ESDPs), 3 Enterprise Scaling up Programmes (ESPs) and 12 domain specific training programmes were conducted, benefiting more than 700 women.
