Promoting a Global Network of Entrepreneurial Excellence

EDII is dedicated to strengthening the capacities of professionals from developing nations through well-designed curricula, expert-led sessions, and field visits. Supported by the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, EDII has been promoting the entrepreneurial spirit among professionals from diverse fields across the world.

In 2025, EDII conducted nearly 18 programmes, training over 553 professionals from 77 countries. Significant programmes conducted over the last two months include:

Technopreneurship: Creating Technology-Enabled Startups and Ecosystem

The programme was organised from December 3 to 16, 2025. A total of 38 participants from 18 countries attended this specially designed programme, which focused on technology venture creation and management through experiential learning, skill-building, and mindset development.

The course was designed for policymakers, business owners, managers, executives, and working professionals. The modules covered key areas of technology entrepreneurship and technopreneurial processes; technology ventures and commercialisation; product development and entrepreneurial marketing; development of startup ecosystems; ecosystem enablers; and industrial visits.

Exploring the Future of AI-Powered MSME Entrepreneurship

The programme commenced on November 27 and concluded on December 10, 2025, with 38 participants of 28 ITEC partner countries. The programme offered expert – led sessions, interactive workshops, cutting-edge tools, learning through case studies and networking opportunities.

Dr. Etinder Pal Singh, Course Director, said, “The programme equipped participants with contemporary knowledge on AI concepts and their applications. This will help them implement AI-driven solutions to ensure better business effectiveness and efficiency.”

EDII, matches steps with the changing times, adopting new learnings, altering its curricula and imparting new-age knowledge to its beneficiaries. Through this initiative as well, the Institute took a step forward towards fostering an adept global network of professionals poised to drive economic growth in their respective nations.
