Biography

Dr. Sonali Narbariya is an Assistant Professor at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) and a scholar in the areas of Human Resource Management, organizational behavior, leadership, change management, and digital transformation. Her work is grounded in rigorous empirical research with strong relevance for organizational practice and policy.

She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, where she was affiliated with the Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organizational Development. She was awarded the prestigious Dr. R. H. Kulkarni Fellowship, sponsored by the Murthy Family Foundation. Dr. Narbariya holds a Ph.D. in Management from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad, where she received the Best Thesis Award for her doctoral research on high-performance work systems and employee readiness for digital transformation. She has previously served as an Assistant Professor at NMIMS Mumbai and has also worked as a Research Associate at IIM Indore. Her research has been recognized with several accolades, including the Best Paper Award at INDAM 2025 and the Best Paper in Track Award at IRIS (Scandinavia), Norway 2025. She actively publishes in reputed journals and contributes to teaching, research, and institutional development.
