Under their CSR pillar, Life Insurance Corporation of India – Housing Finance Ltd. (LIC-HFL) has a flagship programme LIC-HLF SANGAM. EDII, as the implementing partner, is carrying out various training and capacity-building activities in Darangiri village, Kushdhowa block, Goalpara district of Assam on Banana Value Chain Development Project, which is designed to enhance capacity and encourage entrepreneurship among the women, youth, banana farmers and others particularly entailing banana fibre.  The project launched in October 2024 is being undertaken under the aegis of LIC-HLF SANGAM.
