With the support of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, EDII trained youth and women from science and technology backgrounds under Technology- based Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (TEDPs) and Women Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (WEDPs). To further strengthen the initiative and ensure its sustainability, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) were also organized for professors and faculty members from S&T institutions across the country.
Women Entrepreneurship Development Programmes (WEDPs)
4 WEDPs were conducted, wherein 120 women were trained through formal sessions, simulation exercises, case studies and industrial visits to impart hands-on experience.
Technology-Based Entrepreneurship Development Programme (TEDPs)
2 TEDPs were organized; training 62 participated in areas such as hardware manufacturing, semiconductors, software development and IT solutions.
Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) 3 two-week Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) engaged 84 faculty members from various science and technology institutions. The programme provided dynamic learning experience and equipped participants with the necessary skills to promote entrepreneurship within their academic settings.
