The initiative aimed to support women in the informal sector, marginalized groups, and economically weaker sections, enhancing their access to government schemes and business opportunities.

  • Promoted entrepreneurship among women through five Entrepreneurship Awareness Programmes (EAP) conducted across five districts in Madhya Pradesh.
  • Empowered over 550 women by equipping them with essential entrepreneurial skills and managerial capabilities.

  • MDP- A one-week Management Development Programme aims to boost MSME productivity and decision-making. It covers Industrial Management, HR, Marketing, Export Procedures, Financial Management, IT, Digital Marketing, Quality Management, and more.
  • ESDP- A six-week Entrepreneurship -cum-Skill Development Programme focuses on creating new livelihoods and rural enterprises. It offers comprehensive training tailored to specific trades and target groups. Examples include Agro Products, Herbal Cosmetics, Fashion Design, Beautician, artificial jewelry, Food Processing, Leather Goods, Mechanical Engineering, Welding, Carpentry, Electronics Repair, Gem Cutting, IT, and more

Impact

  • EAP- 11 Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP) have been conducted in 05 districts of Madhya Pradesh. These programs set the minds of around 600 youth to pursue careers in business and startups. The programs were focused on providing information on the traits of successful entrepreneurs, Emerging business opportunities, and government financial schemes.
  • MDP- 26 youth participants completed the One-week Management Development Programme (MDP) on Financial Management. They have gained comprehensive knowledge and skills in financial management, which will enhance their ability to make informed financial decisions and improve their business operations.
  • ESDP- Over 130 young participants have completed the six-week Entrepreneurship-cum-Skill Development Programme (ESDP) in Fashion Design, Beautician, and Artificial Jewellery. This comprehensive program equipped them with crucial skills in these creative fields and provided in-depth entrepreneurial training, including traits of successful entrepreneurs, emerging business opportunities, government financial schemes, business planning, marketing, and financial management.

  • FEDP-Faculty Entrepreneurship Development Programme (FEDP) equipped teachers/trainers with skills and knowledge essential for inculcating entrepreneurial values in students.

Impact

  • WEDP- 25 Participants received in-depth entrepreneurial training. They gained knowledge on the traits of successful entrepreneurs, identifying emerging business opportunities, developing business plans, and marketing and financial management, etc.
  • FEDP- Faculty members from 30 Science & Technology Colleges/Institutes and trainers from organizations engaged in entrepreneurship development completed the Faculty Entrepreneurship Development Programme (FEDP). The programme equipped the participants with necessary skills and knowledge to effectively inculcate entrepreneurial values ​​in students as well as design effective entrepreneurship courses.
