In 2018, when Nikhil BothraI joined the Summer Camp, he was pursuing B.Com Hons. from St Xavier’s College, Kolkata and like many others, was trying to figure out how best he could surge ahead. While exploring options, he came to know about EDII’s Summer Camp for Entrepreneurial Adventures. He enrolled for it, having heard that the camp instills entrepreneurial values and offers career counselling based on an evaluation of one’s strengths and weaknesses. 

It was during his stay at EDII that Nikhil decided he would get into something of his own and from there began his journey of self-exploration. EDII gave him a direction. He got an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and its associated advantages. He realised it was a structured journey and that he too could make it his career. After attending Summer Camp at EDII, Nikhil Bothra delivered his 1st TEDx Talk and founded ‘KNUTS Ventures Private Limited’ and ‘Talk About Failures’. 

Nikhil take pride in the fact that KNUTS Ventures is one of India’s fastest-growing Speakers Bureau & Influencer Accelerator. He also runs an organization called Talk About Failures, where they are working to create a community where people voluntarily share their failure stories and turn those experiences into valuable lessons. 

The exposure Nikhil got at EDII was the trigger which set his imagination rolling. He felt more confident and learned how failures have been a part of every successful person’s life. This realization gave him the strength to maintain his sanity in times of despair. After his learning at EDII, he started living a disciplined life, constantly pushing himself to keep learning and replacing inhibitions and doubts with knowledge and a right approach. All in all, EDII helped him in adopt and nurture a process of creative thinking, decision making and ideation. EDII pressed the first button of success for him.
