15th National Summer Camp on Entrepreneurial Stimulation for Children in the age group of 12 - 16 years (up to 10th grade)
THE WORLD IS WAITING FOR THEM....
Children can be the harbingers of change and awakening, if nurtured suitably. These young saplings can grow into innovative, persistent and creative individuals with proper grooming.
Enterprising values, which come in with this result-oriented grooming, play a significant role in shaping the personality of these children. Such holistically groomed children will always leave impressions, with their unique eye for opportunities and the ability to turn them into maximum advantage on account of their strikingly winning attributes.
Through National Summer Camps on Entrepreneurial Stimulation, Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India seeks to inculcate high enterprising values in the children in the age group of 12 to 16 years. The Institute has been organizing such Summer and Winter Camps for children across the nation for the last twelve years. The Camps at EDI, Ahmedabad alone have stimulated 639 children so far. It now announces the 15th Camp in the series, to be organised during May 04-09 ,2008.
MAIN OBJECTIVE
The objective of the camp is to inculcate the 'Spirit of Enterprise and Achievement' in children so that they target higher-order achievements.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CAMP:
- 12 to 16 year old children (up to 10th grade) are eligible. The number of participants is limited to 80 only. Adequate arrangements are made for girls, such as appointment of a lady caretaker.
- Since focus is on activities, there is no language bar. However, the participants are expected to communicate in either of these languages: English, Hindi or Gujarati. Activities include mental gyms, motivation and creativity exercises, puzzles, value education, presentations, learning through success stories, industry visits and 'yoga'.
- The entire group will be divided into two sub-groups of 12 to 14 (Group-A)years and 14 to16 (Group-B) years.
- A parents' meet will be organized to brief them on their ward's performance and potential.
- Formal and informal interaction with well-known entrepreneurs and achievers from various fields will be organised to motivate the children to target mega successes in life.
VENUE
The Camp will be organized at the award-winning EDI Campus, Ahmedabad. Well equipped, AC classrooms with modern amenities will be made available. First 50 participants would be accommodated in AC rooms on twin-sharing basis and the remaining would be provided air-cooled rooms on twin-sharing basis.

FEE & REGISTRATION:
Rs.6,000/- per participant, which includes tuition fee, camp material and board/ lodging. It does not include travel cost, out-of-pocket expenses and medical insurance, if any. Last date for registration is April 18,2008.
